Triathlon of Senses, an endurance sports experience unique in the world and which also combines a touch of zen, celebrates its second edition promoted by six senses ibiza.
With an innovative and original format, this test that opens the triathlon calendar in Ibiza for this 2023 combines physical training and spirituality, becoming a whole journey for body and mind with its multi-sport format and the beautiful bay of Cala Xarraca as a backdrop.
More than a competition, Triathlon of Senses is a whole personal challenge of resistance, energy and concentration in one of the most beautiful areas of the island which is celebrated this year on 23 April 2023.
The Triathlon of Senses will count this year with the participation of the triathlete Michelle Vesterby as the headliner, a Danish athlete who has participated in 37 editions of the most extreme triathlon, including six Ironman World Championships, has obtained several medals in world and European long-distance triathlon championships.
The test starts with a custom yoga warm upfollowed by a meditation session, to enhance the performance of athletes. Then comes the tests swim, bike, run and, after the finish line, a new session of restorative yoga and meditation.
Triathlon of Senses includes the categories Junior, U23 and Age Group; and Super Sprint, Sprint, Olympic race distances.
La Olympic modality consists of traversing 1500 meter swim, 40 km bike and 10 km run. If you sign up for the Sprint you will have to do 750 meter swim, 20 km bike and 5 km run. Por último, la Super Sprint and Relay Super Sprint they are composed of 375 meter swim, 10 km bike and 2 km run.
