Walking Ibiza is a company of Hiking with 10 years of experience organizing excursions throughout the island.
Although it also prepares special activities, the company organizes several fixed walks every week, although each time the route is different, so you can get to know every corner of Ibiza.
Weekly Walking Ibiza excursions. Choose yours
-Monday - Monday Mindful Walk: Start the week with this activity that combines a easy hike with the practice of Mindfulness. They are routes between 5 and 8 km and about 2 hours or 2 and a half hours of duration.
-Wednesday - Short & Sweet Walk: Sheila guides these excursions of moderate pace where you will learn about vegetation and herbs of the island or curious historical facts. At the end of the excursion there is tea and coffee with homemade cakes, in the colder months, and wine and cold snacks to conclude the night walks in summer.
-Friday's - Friday's Classic walks: Normally guided by Toby Clarke, creator of Walking Ibiza, they are the walks that gave rise to the company. They are excursions of medium to high level, with a faster pace and require a certain physical form. They usually have a tour of about 10 km and a duration of about 4 hours. Depending on the route, they include information on flora, fauna and history during the tour.
-On Sundays - Sunday's Social Walks: They are routes of medium level guided by the best Walking Ibiza guides, all passionate connoisseurs of the island. They usually walk between 8 and 10 km and last a few 3 or 4 hours. It is also provided interesting information about the places through which it passes.
-Last Friday of every month - Friday's Big Walk: A great tour of more than 20 km walking led by Toby Clarke and suitable for more experienced walkers.
What should you bring
-A small backpack
-Water (at least 1 liters)
-Something to eat
-Good shoes and comfortable clothes
-Sunscreen (if necessary)
-Swimsuit (in season)
-Lantern (night walks)
-Light waterproof (if necessary)
If you want them they lend you the canes for walk. Dogs can be brought that they are well trained.
How much they cost
Excursions cost 10 euros per person, although for those who have a very tight budget exchanges accepted of homemade products (such as jams, chocolate ...) in agreement with the organizers. The Big walks they cost 15 euros per person.
The price includes liability insurance (not medical).
All guides carry first aid kit and walkie talkies.
