The popular Medieval Ibiza Fair organized by the Ibiza Town Hall, recovers this 2022 all its splendor, after a past edition marked by the pandemic in which we were unable to enjoy its traditional market. This year, on the other hand, it is expected that break participation records with the assistance of more than 150.000 people.
Four days of celebration and very interesting events in the beautiful area of Dalt Vila, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1999, which will be decked out for the occasion with fabrics and flags in the purest medieval style of the Ibiza of past centuries.
As one of the central elements of the quote, the bustling market with more than a hundred stops with delicious gastronomic products, taverns and beautiful handicrafts.
Snake charmers, fakirs, minstrels, noblemen or medieval knights walk the streets of the old city filling them with animation and color in an impressive staging that recalls the diverse cultures that make up the rich essence of Ibiza, a city through which Phoenicians, Romans or Arabs, among many other peoples, have passed.
In addition, concerts, medieval plays, falconry, Arab dances, archery displays, exhibitions, choral music concerts and a great variety of children's and cultural activities in this essential event at the start of the season, for which the Ibiza Town Hall has drawn up a particularly careful program for this edition.
The Ibiza Medieval Fair is held on May 12, 13, 14 and 15, 2022.
