CANT i PLORA is a reusable bottle that allows you to transport wherever you want all kinds of drinks at an ideal temperature. A beautiful project born in Ibiza with a big goal: avoid the production and consumption of single-use plastic to save the Mediterranean of its harmful effects.
Every detail has been taken care of to the maximum in this container: from its name to its mission. Rescue the word 'canteen' it was one of his illusions. A term with a curious story behind it that refers to a metaphor about the sound that a liquid produces when it falls, which sometimes seems that of a “song” (cant) and other times that of a “cry” (plora). Hence the etymological origin of this disused word.
The Mediterranean is the source of inspiration of its original design. A bottle whose colors perfectly evoke the essence of this sea. A container of 18/8 stainless steel and double layer which maintains the cold up to 24 hours and 12 hours heat. Of course, BPA free, anti-condensation and anti-drip.
This modern reusable bottle designed in Ibiza hides much more behind it than design and functionality. CANT i PLORA is also synonymous with collaboration, cooperation and participation. Since its conception, it has opted for enhance local talent. Graphic designers from Ibiza have brought it to life and professionals from various sectors have made the project possible. It is also part of environmental projects such as the "Sustainable forests", that seeks to offset CO2 emissions in national forests through reforestation. Thus, thanks to their cooperation, pine trees are being planted on the Mediterranean coast, specifically on the Costa Brava, the trees that absorb the most CO2.
To make matters worse, Alicia, its creator, is working on an interesting collaboration with the Vell Marí de Formentera association for marine awareness and conservation. Besides, CANT i PLORA is fully involved in all kinds of specific events related to culture, society and the environment.
