Named in honor of the Phoenician goddess Astarte, predecessor of Aphrodite, goddess of love, AstARTE aims to become a place that invites celebrate art and beauty in all its forms.
A refreshing concept taken by Es Jardí, the nice terrace hidden between dunes and junipers of the restaurant, to turn it into a vibrant cultural space loaded with stimulating proposals in a unique natural environment and just a few steps from the sea.
Determined to promote culture on the island and to provide us quality entertainment and leisure During the hottest months, the AstARTE organizers have put together a extensive and varied programming in its first season of life. In addition, they are open to all kinds of proposals of cultural interest.
AstARTE organizes regular classes of Iaido (Japanese fencing) or Conscious listening, plus one-off workshops of all kinds: Ibizan herbs, ceramics, aromatherapy...
Weekly, they inaugurate a different exhibition of an artist from the island, which you can visit Monday to Friday of that week. The preview and presentation of each exhibition is usually always the Tuesday of the corresponding week.
They also organize sessions of poetry slam, dance, book presentations and other activities, and all the Tuesday and Thursday summer schedule concerts with groups and artists from the island.
