El Museum of Contemporary Art of Ibiza (MACE) occupies the interior of an emblematic XNUMXth century building located in Dalt Vila, in the historic center of Eivissa.
Recently renovated, it reopened in 2012 with a major expansion of its facilities. Almost 2.000 square meters of rooms where permanent and temporary samples of contemporary artists are exhibited.
Its collections include an important sample of the plastic creation that emerged on the island in the 60s, in addition to works by artists of the stature of Tàpies and Miralles, among others, and some less known, originating or resident in the Balearic Islands. It also highlights its important sample of engravings.
It was inaugurated in 1969 being the museum of this pioneering style in Spain. Inside there are numerous exhibitions of local and foreign artists and activities such as workshops and conferences.

In April, May, June and September from Tuesday to Sunday from 10 to 14 hours and from Tuesday to Friday from 17 to 20 hours.

You must go up to Dalt Vila. If you do it for the access that is just behind the famous Plaza de Parque in Ibiza you will find it easier to find it.
