In the heart of the island, in one of those tiny ones peoples out of jellywe meet with the Can Berri Restaurant, idyllic place where locals and tourists mingle in search of a good dinner and a bit of the most authentic Ibiza. Located in a old house payesa, right next to the beautiful Church of Sant Agustí, San José, it will get your attention without even trying.
'Tranquil·litat i bons aliments' (tranquility and good food) is the Can Berri insignia, which perfectly defines what you will find in it. Speaking of their kitchen, we must emphasize that they work with products of a very high quality, most of them coming of the land itself. In your letter you will find a gastronomic offer of the most varied. As soon as you run into a grilled red tuna loin with soy sauce and citrus like a vegetable tempura, African style chicken or a sirvia steak with two separate sauces: lemon grass and tartar. It is a luxury that your palate can travel from one place to another without leaving your small terrace.
Attention to desserts. You will not be able to let them pass since the waiter will present before you a spectacular tray full of best homemade sweets. Chocolate mousse, coconut, coffee coffe, banofle… Don't try to resist, they are one of Can Berri's successes!
The atmosphere in this wonderful space will make you feel so at ease that when you finish dinner you may decide to change the terrace and go have a tasty cocktail in its other outdoor area, replete with orange and pomegranate. A place ideal so much to go with your partner, friends or family. Children will be able to play without problems in it and even in the square of the church while you enjoy your moment of relax.
While in the first terrace the most elaborate dishes are served of your letter, this second is oriented to grilled meats and cocktails. From January to March, every two weeks, they celebrate their famous trousers. Un closed menu for Sundays that includes meat, calçots and cofee cafe. Starting in July, all Thursday celebrate the Unplugged sardines. Pay a tribute to the Iberian secret at low temperature with mustard and honey sauce or with the lamb shoulder at low temperature you will not regret it!
